Biography :
Curator from 1980 to 2000 of the Kunsthaus in Zurich, since 1987 becomes Deputy Director. During this period she has exhibited on Dadaism, the history of photography, as well as the monographs of classical artists such as Munch, Ensor, Hodler or Segantini. From 2000 to 2009 he is director of the Tinguely Museum in Basel, where he is responsible for organizing exhibitions on Nouveaux Réalistes, Duchamp, Schwitters and Max Ernst. As independent curator, he organized an exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi, Florence, on Surrealism, and at the Beyeler Foundation, Basel, an exhibition on Segantini.
